Our six-month hybrid Linchpin Mentoring Program allows mentees (12-19) to work in remote locations to gain access to mentors, community service providers, and local small businesses with greater flexibility. The program consists of multisystemic therapy with motivational interviewing sessions and three cognitive-behavioral phases, each lasting eight weeks, with one 12-week extension at the discovery of an experimental drug/alcohol use to provide separate certified brief intervention diversionary services that will extend the Linchpin mentoring program for nine months at no additional cost.
The program has three modules with diversionary workbooks that address adolescent behaviors (module 1), parenting expectations (module 2), and peer pressure (module 3). The workbooks include cognitive behavioral techniques that involve self-directed problem-solving exercises to reduce the likelihood of juvenile probation. They are available as stand-alone products for sale. |
