Brief Intervention Diversionary Program
Remote Diversionary Program for Juveniles:
The primary goal is to promote abstinence and prevent relapse among chemical-using and delinquent youth. The four-session Brief Intervention program for Adolescent Alcohol and Drug Use was developed by Ken Winters, Ph.D., at the University of Minnesota for youth with mild to moderate substance use.
Our certified Brief Intervention Diversionary Program allows youth (12-19) with mild-to-moderate substance use with or without a court order to work in remote locations to gain access to preventative services with greater flexibility. The Brief Intervention sessions include mandatory one-on-one four-part cognitive behavioral therapy sessions administered via Google Meet, with a Brief Intervention Specialist.
